The central purpose of the UFABC Innovation Agency is to manage institutional policy on intellectual property, knowledge and technology transfer, and entrepreneurship.
- Mission: Searching for sustained economic development through technological evolution and fostering an entrepreneurial stance, contributing to teaching, research, and outreach activities.
- Vision: Leading applied research activities for the technological advancement of the productive park in the Great ABC region, with national and international projection.
- Values: commitment, respect, honesty, cooperation, and excellence.
Since its creation, the Innovation Agency has worked directly with research and development activities for new technologies at the University, expanding the reach of its movements at UFABC and society over the years. To this end, it promotes:
- a) Support for actions related to the intellectual protection of knowledge and technological solutions developed by UFABC;
- b) Technological stimulus to intensify R&D, entrepreneurship, and innovation activities, through events, lectures, and continuing training.
- c) UFABC’s interaction with external technological actors, especially with the production sector.
ENGAGING STUDENTS
InovaUFABC is responsible for recognizing and supporting professional and entrepreneurial student entities at UFABC.
To be part of a student entity, the candidate must participate in the entity’s selection process. It is worth mentioning that each student entity is responsible for selecting its members.
