InovaUFABC offers support and guidance to researchers on the documents and procedures necessary for applying for invention and utility model patents; computer program registrations, and trademark registrations. Additionally, it manages technology protection processes before the competent institutions.
The Innovation Agency is responsible for managing UFABC’s intellectual property and the results of partnerships developed with national and international institutions and Intellectual Property agreements for research projects. Besides, it is responsible for negotiating technology transfer contracts. This management observes the Innovation Policy and the Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer Regulation.
